Perceptual Filling-in In Eye Diseases

Millions of people all over the world suffer from eye diseases resulting in spatially limited visual impairments. Together with the Department of Ophthalmology at UKGM, the university hospital of Giessen and Marburg, Alexander Schütz and his team are investigating the visual perception in the damaged area and how the brain is filling-in the missing information.
