Short info
My research focuses on the role of visual attention in human information processing. I am particularly interested in how humans select information from their visual environment, and how attentional selection is affected by visual context, the observer’s action intention, and their prior learning experience. To address these questions my lab team combines different experimental and neurocognitive methods (behavioral measures, eye- and motion tracking and EEG).
Our long-term goal is a better understanding of how the brain implements attentional selection not only in well-controlled tasks, but also in complex naturalistic settings.
