Lydia Riedl

Short info

I studied at the Universities of Zurich and Marburg. In my PhD project,
I developed a standardized multimodal speech-gesture training program
(MSG training) and its effects on neural functioning and
social-cognitive abilities in patients with schizophrenia. We are
currently using these data to further investigate neural activation in
pathological gesture processing with a machine learning algorithm and to
be able to track potential changes that may occur as a result of training.

I have been working in the field of pathological gesture processing and
its neural correlates with Prof. Straube. My work now focuses on
supporting research. I am particularly interested in the dissemination
of open science practices, which is especially challenging in the field
of neuroscience.
