Delegation from York University (Toronto) visits Marburg to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with the CMBB
Three universities, one focus: Together with York University, Toronto in Canada, Philipps-Universität Marburg (UMR) and Justus Liebig University Giessen (JLU) are strengthening their research cooperation in brain and behavioral research. To this end, a delegation from York University led by the Vice-President for Research and Innovation, Dr. Amir Asif, recently visited Marburg.
Together, the three research institutions signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the Center for Mind, Brain and Behavior (CMBB) and the Center for Vision Research at York University.
The members of the CMBB Board of Directors, Prof. Dr. Andreas Jansen, Prof. Dr. Frank Bremmer (both Marburg) and Prof. Dr. Katja Fiehler (JLU), discussed the potential for further cooperation in the fields of neuroscience and artificial intelligence: the three partner universities are planning to intensify personal exchange and have also renewed the existing student exchange agreements.
