New LOEWE center "DYNAMICS" of clinical psychologists funded by HMWK

The Hessian Ministry of Science and Arts (HMWK) is funding the new LOEWE center DYNAMIC of the clinical psychologists of the universities Marburg, Giessen, Frankfurt and Darmstadt, with Winfried Rief as the speaker.

Mental illness is one of the most common and most serious diseases, affecting one in four people - across all groups in society. The earlier, better and more precise the treatment, the greater the treatment success. TAM scientists from four Hessian universities want to develop better treatment approaches using dynamic networks.

The state of Hesse has approved 14.7 million Euros in its program to promote cutting-edge research for the LOEWE center DYNAMIC (Dynamic Network Approach of Mental Health to Stimulate Innovations for Change) under the leadership of Philipps-Universität Marburg in an initial funding period from 2024-2027. Other partners are Justus Liebig University Giessen, Goethe University Frankfurt and Technische Universität Darmstadt. In addition, scientists from the Leibniz Institute for Research and Information in Education (DIPF) and the Ernst Strüngmann Institute for Neurosciences (ESI) are supporting the research project in cooperation with the Max Planck Society. Prof. Dr. Winfried Rief is the speaker with co-speaker Prof. Dr. Andreas Reif. You can find more information here.
