MindShift Project for AI-Based Mental Health Research funded

The Marburg research project 'MindShift', led by Prof. Dr. Hamidreza Jamalabadi at Philipps University of Marburg, has been awarded a budget of €871.000 by the state of Hesse for 24 months to model affective-cognitive brain states

The MindShift project has been funded by the state of Hesse's Distr@l 4A funding program for 24 months to integrate neuroscience, psychiatry and artificial intelligence to better understand and model affective-cognitive brain states. Using dynamic systems and control theory, the project aims to develop personalised, adaptive and hardware-independent neurostimulation methods that can optimise existing stimulation technologies and improve treatment outcomes for depression and anxiety disorders.
