Publication Strategies

In the two-day workshop “Publication strategies” (June 15-16), participants learned strategies for publishing scientific papers.

Participants learned how to develop good publishing strategies by learning, reflecting, and discussing why, what, when, how, and where to publish. Each step included exercises such as mind-mapping personal extrinsic and intrinsic motivations for publishing, analyzing the quality of a paper in terms of the form and function of paragraphs and graphics, and writing a cover letter. In addition, the coach addressed individual challenges that participants described.
